Our Ethos
Our brand is rooted in the tie between our founder’s journey through her career & life.
Faith’s career has been defined by sacrifice…relocating to unfamiliar places, carving space in a male-dominated field, and many seasons apart from loved ones, all to better her craft. Just the same as the arduous labor of winemaking produces a unique story in a bottle, she discovered that life’s pain can transform into beauty.
The vine endures shifting seasons to bear fruit, just as we face change and challenges to grow into our fullest selves. This philosophy ties the struggles of winemaking to the universal human experience.
Meet the Founder
With a background in science and a passion for craft, Faith Parsons’ path from pre-med student to winemaker was anything but expected. While studying Biology and Chemistry at IU, a job at a local winery sparked a love for wine & the artistry of winemaking.
Faith has worked with wineries in Indiana, Oregon’s Rogue and Willamette Valleys, and Greece. She later earned a certificate in Distillation, Wine, and Brewing Sciences from the University of Kentucky.
Now based in Louisville, she is proud to bring her own brand home. She believes exceptional wine begins with exceptional fruit, shaped by both vineyard & winemaker. Good Pain wines are crafted to shine young, yet possess the structure to age gracefully.
Specializing in Alsatian-style whites and a signature Pinot Noir, she brings fine Oregon wines to the Kentucky commonwealth.
